Go Katie, it’s your Birthday! Ok–my birthday was really yesterday but since I had to work I really didn’t get to celebrate it much. Originally I thought I wasn’t going to celebrate it at all and would just be spending quiet evening with my mother, little sister and step father at my favorite restaurant. Surprise!

I use the word party loosely, there was a group of 10 of my close friends and family. It was just a normal party; good food, drinks, and laughter. I’ve got to be honest though, my favorite part of my birthday has always been the gifts.

A good friend of mine have this inside joke where she quizzes me on the presidents and I quiz her the state capitals. With these cards I will definitely beat her. Thanks Ellen!

Sorry for the wrinkles, my mom wrapped them up pretty good. These are three shirts that I picked out. Now here is the funny thing: not satisfied after getting these shirts, my mom went to go buy me some more.

Notice a pattern? She is too funny! Not satisfied with what I picked out for her, she went and got three more shirts that are from the same color palate. Bless her for trying! Thanks Mumsies!

My mom also got me a cool Hat Box that I can use with for my hula costumes. Thanks Mumsies!

And finally, the gift from my little sister!

Last year I had gotten these awesome nesting doll measuring cups and recently I saw they had a matching cookie/sugar jar! I love that my little sister picked it out for me and was so excited. Afterwards she asked, “Whose gift did you like the most?” I responded, “Yours of course!” She then looked at me for a cool 30 seconds and said “Well….It doesn’t seem like it!” And stormed off. Thanks Pippy!

And that is it for now! I saw for now because apparently, my step dad had ordered something from the internet and it didn’t come in time, so I still get one last gift. Thank you to every one again!
