The past couple of months have been a whirlwind of bad luck! I have worked so much and dealt with some personal problems so losing weight hasn’t been a top priority but I am back!

Technically, I have only lost 1 pound. I started at 230, I gained 4 lost 1 and now I lost another 4! Small strides but I feel like I am starting to get motivated. Just starting though, I am not quite motivated yet.

I have always known I am an emotional eater. I can look back at almost every happy or bad night and remember what I was eating. Lately, it has gotten really bad to a point where the moment I feel bad, I immediately seek comfort in food. Other people have noticed my habits as well, which makes me embarrassed. What really bothers me is being defined by my eating habits, not just my weight but how I interact around food.

It finally feels like I am back on track! I really haven’t lost any of the weight back that I gained but I have been eating better! Even though the candy at work has provided some struggles for me, I have been able to get away with only a few pieces, not completely ruining my diet. Once my knee starts to feel better (random dance injury) I will be back to hula and to Insanity. I just need to keep motivated and positive, which is extremely hard for me.

One of the reasons I started this blog was to track my weight loss. I am currently doing three things: Weight Watchers, Diet Pills and Exercising. I am not looking for results just yet, more like a stable routine and life style change.
