Green Coffee Bean Extract

Ignore the Pepsi, it is just product placement.

This is not my first attempt at trying diet pills, nor is it my first time being on a kick where I want to lose weight. See previous posts here and here. But since I have heard so much about weight-loss products on T.V. and in the media (seriously Dr. Oz has endorsed about 5 different products) I decided that I want to try some out and see if they actually work when used like directed. (*These are personal reviews. I am not being compensated or receiving anything in return for using the product. In fact, I paid for these on my own)

The first product I am going to try is one I found on http://www.thedirty.com.  Of course it had the celebrity endorsement of the website’s founder Nik Ritchie, but it also had before and after submissions from people (who I hoped were not actors or paid to use the product). I was not just amazed at how quickly the people dropped weight but also the definition they had built by working out with this product.

According to the website, it is because of the Chlorogenic Acid. Sounds yum, right? It is supposed to change the way your body processes sugar after a meal is eaten. It also contains African Mango which is inhibits the food enzymes from becoming fat. This isn’t a lose weight quick scheme though. You still need to control your eating habits and work out. I know it seems silly to both take a pill and live a healthier lifestyle, but their argument is that if you do these steps while you take the pill, you will ultimately train yourself to live a healthier lifestyle in the process. I am not sure if I am buying that line of logic but I am willing to try it out.

Typical of other weight loss products, you take one pill twice a day, 30-60 minutes before eating lunch and dinner. The problem is that I can never remember to take them! I can always set an alarm but the real issue is that I do not consistently eat at the same time rendering an alarm useless.  I will figure it out.
