I dropped the ball on posting my Sedona, Arizona pictures, but I guess it is not too late to do it now.

The blue sky is stunning. This was the best weather of my trip.

Sedona is the Red Rock country, known for its beautiful red rocks. My Grandparents live in the Village of Oak Creek, which is about 20 minutes from uptown Sedona. I have so many fond memories of my Grandparents and where they live that I can’t help but share the beauty. The red rocks, which you can see in the picture above, are amazing in their own right but if you add a blue sky, you can see how breath-taking the scene really is.

Locals and tourists alike call the larger rocks by their nicknames. My Grandparents live across from Bell Rock and Court House Butte. Court House Butte was my favorite growing because of how bare the sides are yet the top has a lot of green.

I sometimes can't believe how beautiful it is.

It wouldn’t be Yavapai county without adobe houses. A lot of people in the area, including my Grandparents neighbors, have adobe styled homes.

And then you have my Grandparent’s home.

Very American.

My Grandparent’s take a lot of pride in their yards and how nice they are kept. I have to say I agree with them, they have the type of yards that make you want to be outside under that blue sky all day.

I absolutely enjoy my time there and I really can’t wait to go back.
