I have struggled with acne for years. Unfortunately for me, a lot of it is hormonal and soaps and serum only cure a part of the problems. I hate how my face looks after I go through a round of acne–oily, splotchy, and in general I don’t look like myself. When I heard my next Bzz Campaign was going to be about a blemish cream, I cannot tell yu how excited I was!
I was counting down the days until the package got to my house. I even went as far as telling my parents that if I received a package, they should call me immediately. The day I came home to the package, I’ll admit I was too sick to care but fast forward to a couple of days and I was thrilled again.

I knew what it was so I tore it open with what my keys would describe as “reckless abandon.”

This was starting out promising. I opened the bzzguide and got the scoop on this awesome product.
The recessed lighting in my house did this shiny guide no favors.
Next I got right into the product.
Considering the product was for evening skin tones, I am surprised at how shiny all the packaging is.
For the actual product, I was a little concerned. I was asked about my skin color when I started the campaign and I chose the light/medium tone. I have yellow and pink undertones in my skin which has made it near to impossible to find a foundation I can use and not have it be shades different from my neck. Because they were lumping light and medium together I thought I might be headed for a disaster.
Impressed with the size of the bottle (at 12.95 a pop it’s pretty decent) but not impressed with how shiny it is!
I really am shocked at how shiny all the packaging is. Flash or no flash, this packaging picked up every light in my house.
My concerns are confirmed. This looks nothing like me.

Oh goodness. It doesn’t even resemble my tone.
But you know what? Once I rubbed it in I couldn’t even tell. The product is so light and sheer that it went right into my pores and creases without looking that beige. I was shocked when I rubbed it in. The best part was that I tried wiping it with a tissue, because I really didn’t need bb cream on my hand and it wouldn’t come off. I wiped and wiped and not even the tiniest hint of product was coming off. It absorbs it really quickly. I immediately called my sister talking a 100 words per minute, “JACKIE HAVE YOU TRIED B.B. CREAM THIS STUFF IS AMAZING MY HAND LOOKS LIKE A DIFFERENT PERSON’S HAND!” My sister then informed me that B.B. can diminish your natural freckles and beauty marks, which deflated my bzz. I debated whether I really cared for a minute but ultimately I settled on even skin tone and no blemishes.
The real question however, is whether the product will work on my face or not. Here are some shots of my blemish and picked up face: (Remember I am sick so I apologize for the red nose and the obvious sweat drip. It has been very hot in San Diego and it made getting better very tough.)

I am really excited to use this product! The B.B. cream is also a sunscreen so that’s awesome and it is relatively not an oily substance. It boasts a matte finish. I will post the results in a few days. Until then, I will leave you this tidbit: B.B. Cream is now a standard part of my morning routine.
